2009 Foul Weather Race

The Foul Weather Race is an annual Anacortes Yacht Club tradition.  The race consists of a start in Fidalgo Bay and finishes off Friday Harbor.  Saturday night in Friday harbor there is usually a dinner followed by noisy awards.  The boats informally race back to Anacortes on Sunday.  We had a great start but the wind died in Thatcher Pass where the rest of the fleet caught us.  Ended up correcting to dead last due to the restart - the joys of time-on-time scoring...
